New Caledonia is coming to your agency!
Over a period of eight months, New Caledonia will be visiting tourism professionals throughout France. Interactive digital communication, sales incentives and an immersive weekend are planned for this brand new initiative!
Working in partnership with the leading B2B French newspaper, TourMag.com, New Caledonia Tourism (NCT) has created a dedicated marketing campaign to promote the destination. The objectives are to increase exposure and awareness of New Caledonia, to train the distributers so they are encouraged to sell the destination and to build a close and long-term relationship.
The eight-month campaign, began with travel agent training using webinars (multimedia and interactive seminars, available through an on-line video conference platform). The first webinar unveiled a sales incentive (1st January to 30 September), encouraging agencies to promote the destination to their clients and to advise the number of sales. A marketing plan provides support for the operation, featuring a mini-web site, a dedicated Facebook page plus telephone sales calls carried out through the webinar meetings.
At the end of the incentive, the ten best sales agents will take part in a two-day teambuilding immersion on New Caledonia, to be held at a secret destination from 13 to 15 October. And with a nod here to the current campaign: “the agents will enjoy just a slight change of scenery”!
At the end of the seminar, two lucky winners will win a stay in New Caledonia.
This is a major initiative, designed to raise awareness of the destination to the distribution channels: “If you can’t come to New Caledonia, then New Caledonia will come to you!”
